Particulars At 0443 utc 22nd of May police informed MRCC Torshavn of a boat in distress in Heystfirði. Five persons were onboard. Rescue units were alerted, and two persons were found at the shoreline in the vicinity of Velbastað. Later one person was found north of Koltur. Althoug the area was duly searched the boat was not found and two persons are still missing.

Particulars At 1515 hrs utc on the 15th of nov. Ziska informed that a collision had been between two fishingvessel at pos 62 15,7 N 006 44,9 W. The smaller vessel ( 29 feet long) sunk a few minuts after the collision. 1 person onboard was rescued be the other vessel, but with some injuries. Rescue boat Ziska moved the injured person to Fuglafjørð where an ambulance waited to take him to the hospital .

Particulars Fishing vessel oddny c/s xprm with 3 pob transmitted a DSC distress at 1758 utc. The reason for the distress signal was a serious leakage in the engine room. The closest ship Ametyst c/s ow 2383 picked up the 3 pob and sailed them to Klaksvík, later in the night F/V Oddny sunk.
