Particulars 1916 MRCC received information from a ship agency about a sick crew member onboard Russian vessel Stariy Arbat. The ship was about 130 nm north of the Faroes. Rescue helicopter SR lifted the sick person of the ship and landed at the airport Vagar 2235 UTC and the crew member transported to the hospital in Torshavn.

Particulars At 0443 utc 22nd of May police informed MRCC Torshavn of a boat in distress in Heystfirði. Five persons were onboard. Rescue units were alerted, and two persons were found at the shoreline in the vicinity of Velbastað. Later one person was found north of Koltur. Althoug the area was duly searched the boat was not found and two persons are still missing.
